Intermediate/CGC Certification:
This class prepares dogs to pass the optional
Canine Good Citizens test upon graduation. It will include exercises on passing all elements of the American Kennel Club's
CGC test for pet parents interested in including their dogs in places where the certification allows them.
This course can also be a dog/parent teams first
leg to therapy work. Therapy dogs are dogs who go to hospitals, hopsices, schools, nursing homes or private homes
to offer comfort. There mere presence often quiets the restless and can bring a smile to someone who may be missing
their own beloved pet.
For
those not interested in CGC certification this class provides the next level of learning and proofing to keep dogs both
challenged and balanced. Dogs do attend the first class.
