The American Canine Training Introduction to Agility class is
designed to give pet parents and dogs the opportunity to explore, in a non competetive environment, the fun and wonderful
world of agility. The eight week course includes a "paws on" introduction to the equipment used, warm up techniques,
and handling skills. Practice equipment includes horizontal jumps (double and single), the tire jump, the pause table,
weave poles, the teeter, the dog walk, and open tunnels and closed tunnels or chutes.
Monday Night agility classes take place at the Valley View Rec
Center in Morrell Park which is near the intersection of Boulder Highway and Basic Street. The Monday Night Morrell Park Agility classes must be enrolled for through the Henderson Department of Parks and
Recreation. To register for Monday night,
